We are so excited about having bees. They are so fascinating to watch. No one could be around bees and not see the miracle of creation. It couldn't have just happened. There is a Great Creator.... God Almighty!!

We will be using the bees for honey for us and to sell. We will also be using the beeswax. We will make candles, and salves with it. If there is any left, we will be selling that as well.

These first pictures are of us putting the packages of bees into the hives.

This next one shows one of the queens in the cage that they come in. The whole package of bees comes in a wooden framed box with screens on both sides. There is a can placed down into the middle of the package with food for them while they are in the package. The queen's cage has a metal tab that is put up through a slit on the top of the package so that you know exactly where she is.

These next ones are taken three days after putting the bees into the hive. We went to let the queens out of their cages. It was amazing at how much new comb they had built in just three days.
